Subject Lines 2010



The subjects at Coffs Harbour Senior College are organised into 'Lines' according to the following timetable:

The subjects available for each line are listed below:



When choosing subjects please consider the following advice:
  • Maintain your options - ensure that you have a range of subjects to extend into the HSC year (ie don’t select a number of 2 Unit, 1 year courses)
  • Create options for further training (either through TAFE or university) or employment. Elect subjects to help you in your future.
  • Don’t select three or more subjects which involve project work to be submitted in HSC year – two major projects seems to be an achievable load for most people.
  • Set goals, aim to elect subjects you enjoy but also subjects that may be required as prerequisites for future study.
  • Seek help – contact Lance Noel (Careers Adviser) or Garth Jones (Assistant Director) if you have concerns regarding subject choices or if you are uncertain of requirements. Teachers will also help with subjects details.
