Enrolment Process
Step 1
Information packages and teacher advice is available at the enrolment information evening held on the 30th June 2009. Packages containing application form, course information and college information are available during the evening or from the administration office following the enrolment evening.
Step 2: Application Forms
To apply for enrolment:
• download and complete the application form;
• for students currently in another school, include a copy of your most recent school report;
• if you have been out of school for at least 12 months, an employer reference or other documentation can be submitted. A copy of the School Certificate, Record of Achievement, TAFE or other certificate should be included.
Step 3: College Processing of Applications
Applications for a place at Coffs Harbour Senior College will be processed as they arrive. There is no designated ‘closing date’. Applicants should be aware that early applications have a greater chance of being successful with course choices.
Final enrolment at the college occurs when all parts of the process are complete. This is particularly relevant to ensuring all forms are fully completed, all sections signed and any enquiries made by the college responded to.
Step 4: Orientation
Orientation activities will be held for all new students. Activities will include a tour of facilities, an explanation of the mentor and welfare systems and orientation to the special character of the computing and library information systems. Each student will receive a student ID card to access facilities and printing.
